Institutional Identity Mission

The Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo’s mission is to constitute, consolidate, amplify, study, protect and communicate its museological, archival and bibliographic visual arts Collection, either produced by Brazilian artists or intrinsically related to the Brazilian culture, its buildings and memories, seeking to improve the public's experience with the visual arts, and encouraging its production and artistic knowledge.

Being recognized as a museum, a place for production and dissemination of knowledge, a center of educational and social inclusion, a reference for quality, consistence and dynamism in the museum’s national and international scenario.

On Thursdays, until 22.00. Admission is free from 18.00 to 22.00
Combined ticket (Pinacoteca and Estação Pinacoteca): R$ 6 and R$ 3
On Saturdays, admission is free.

Students (with current ID) pay half-price.

Children (10 years and under) and Seniors (60 years and over) have free admission.

On Thursdays, after 18.00, the admission is free

Pinacoteca do Estado Fidelity Card

With the Pinacoteca’s Fidelity Card, visitors can buy five tickets to both museums for the price of four. For 24 reais, the visitor can visit the Pinacoteca and the Estação Pinacoteca in five different days, with no lines, and it is valid for a year after the purchase date. It is available at the ticket booth and it is a good gift option.
