Descoberto primeiro dinossauro angolano

O achado pertence à idade geológica do Cretácico Superior.

The Bulgarian lands are ancient crossroads. They were populated frommost ancient times. Over 30 settlements from prehistoric period, 1000 sepulchral burial mounds, 90 early and late of the Middle Ages strongholds and the 60 settlements are known.

The state of Bulgaria has more of1 300 years old history and according to the statistics it is ranked third (after Greece and Italy) for the number of its archaeological monuments.

The Bulgarians were the basic ethnic component in the structure of the Mediaeval Bulgarian State. Their original home land was in Central Asia, in the mountainous region of Pamir. As a highly developed civilization they had culturally dominated the territories of central Asia for a long time. The proto-Bulgarians led by khan Asparuh settle down to the territory to a today'sDobroudja and he made contractual esteems with the Slav tribes who live inMoesia. The Bulgarian state in the summer of the 680 is built as well on the base of the union between the two nations

Among the most interesting exhibits are the ones from the Prehistoric barrow near Yunacite village and the medieval fortress Tsepina in the Rhodopa Mountains.

Copies of the marble icons of St. St. Peter and Paul from the beginning ofthe XII - XIII century, found at the Tsepina fortress in 1879, are shown in a separate window.

Their originals are kept in the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg.

Over 120 exhibits, placed in two halls, form the topical hubs of the exposition "The Ottoman rule and the national struggle for Liberation".

The development of Pazardhik and the region during the Revival and its inhabitant's participation in the national struggle for LIberation and in the April Uprising with Fourth Revolutionary military district (1876) as a centre may be followed through rich original exhibits and documentary photographs.

The history of Pazardzhik after the Liberation (1878) to the middle of the XX century: administrative, economic and cultural is introduced in the last three halls.

The first steps in the foundation of the local authorities and the build-up of a new, independent and democratic society are shown: the administrative structure; some of the handicrafts, typical for the period; the industrial development of the city and the one of trade and banking; the educational development and the creation of cultural communities.

Vilnius Castle Complex Lithuania

The Castle Complex has been inhabited since Neolithic times. Prior to the 13th century, its structures were built from wood. In the 13–14th centuries defensive walls, towers and gateways were built from stone; these were reorganized and expanded several times. The only freestanding structures that remain intact are those at the Lower Castle.

Vilnius Castle Complex around 1530

The Vilnius Castle Complex (Lithuanian: Vilniaus pilių kompleksas or Vilniaus pilys), is a group of cultural, and historic structures on the left bank of the Neris River, near its confluence with the Vilnia River, in Vilnius, Lithuania. The buildings, which evolved between the 10th and 18th centuries, were one of Lithuania's major defensive structures.

The complex consisted of three castles: the Upper, the Lower, and the Crooked (Lithuanian: Kreivoji pilis). The Crooked Castle was burned down by the Teutonic Knights in 1390 and was never rebuilt. The Vilnius Castles were attacked several times by the Teutonic Order after 1390, but they did not succeed in taking the entire complex. Its complete capture occurred for the first time during the 1655 Battle of Vilnius. Soon afterwards, the severely damaged castles lost their importance, and many buildings were abandoned. During the Tsarist annexation, several historic buildings were demolished; many more were damaged during the fortress construction in the 19th century.[citation needed]

Today, the remaining Gediminas Tower is a major symbol of the city of Vilnius and of the nation itself. Annually, on 1 January, the Lithuanian tricolor is hoisted on Gediminas Tower to commemorate Flag Day. The complex is part of the National Museum of Lithuania, one of the largest museums in the country.

The Museumstoomtram Hoorn Medemblik is a heritage railway in the Netherlands.

It runs from Hoorn to Medemblik, a distance of about 20 km.

Loc 7742 - "Bello"

The original connection was run by Locaalspoorwegmaatschappij Hollands Noorderkwartier (1884 - 1935). The line was opened on 3 November 1887. The connection follows a curving path, to reduce the amount of land that had to be compulsorily purchased. The train used steam traction, with diesel traction being introduced in 1929.

The line was closed for passenger service from 1 January 1936 until 29 May 1940.

On 5 January 1941 the line was permanently closed for passenger service, just as the railway station in Medemblik.

Loc 26 - "Ir. P.H. Bosboom"

Nowadays the railways is in use as a tourist attraction. The masterpiece in the collection is the former Nederlandse Spoorwegen locomotive 7742 Bello, the Netherlands' only preserved light steam engine. Other steam locomotives in running order include three tramway engines, two of which are enclosed tram engines (steam dummies). The remaining ones are: three industrial engines; a German one which is now being rebuilt as a replica of a Dutch railway shunting engine (of a series of which several also served on steam tramways); and a locomotive of industrial type which served at a steam tram company in Zuid-Holland, still awaiting restoration.

Seven of the nine steam locomotives are official Dutch rail monuments.

NS 7742 and the two enclosed tram engines are in regular use: Bello mainly in the peak season afternoon train, and the two steam dummies mainly in the 10 o' clock train (tue/wed/thursdays during peak season).

Eight steam tram carriages are in regular service, as well as several steam tram goods wagons.

Bello and the three tramway engines originate from the provinces Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and Limburg. The serviceable steam tram carriages originate from the provinces Friesland, Gelderland, Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and Zeeland.

The livery and presentation of the cars is as they were in 1926.

The station is twinned with the Bluebell Railway in England. The ride between Hoorn and Medemblik is often combined by tourists with a trip from Medemblik to Enkhuizen by boat.

On the disused side of platform 2 of Huddersfield railway station in northern England, an old carriage is bolted to the ground, and set in its window is a Dutch plaque commemorating 100 years of Stoomtram Hoorn - Medemblik.

V Notranjskem muzeju Postojna. -- The Notranjska Museum in Postojna -- O Museu Notranjska em Postojna

Prizadevanja mnogih so se pričela uresničevati leta 1947 z zamislijo Lea Vilharja o ustanovitvi muzeja in dokončno utrdila v letu 1949 s poimenovanjem muzeja v Notranjski muzej.

V teh prostorih še danes deluje SAZU.

PRELOMNO LETO 2005 Z ODLOČITVIJO TAKRATNE VLADE DO LASTNIH PROSTOROV

RAZLIČNI PROSTORI IN RAZLIČNE STATUSNE OBLIKE DELOVANJA MUZEJA

Rezultate obdelave predmetov predstavljamo v strokovnih publikacijah, s predavanji in z vodenjem posameznikov in skupin v muzeju in na arheoloških najdiščih.

From its beginnings of operation, until today (May 2011), the Museum did not have own premises. The first idea of the karst museum dates back to 1908. At the request of the then Cave Board, to be in the building, which has been upgraded for the needs of political offices, edited Cave Museum. This idea was followed by an initiative of Ivan Andrej Perko In 1912 the Scientific cave museum to be built in the vicinity of Postojna Cave. Noble initiative was suspended the First World War. In 1929, in the context of the then Speleološkega Institute also acted Cave Museum.

The efforts many have started to implement in 1947 with the idea Lea Vilharja establishing the museum and finally consolidated in 1949 by naming the museum in the Notranjska Museum. After that, the museum has several times changed its denomination, the original name was again taken up after 1990. Most of the time, intermittently until 1995, the museum is operated in an old mansion in the middle of the city. Therefore, it is in the minds of local people consolidated opinion on that today houses the museum there.

With these premises, the museum some time even managed, in 1952, the building was by the then District People's Committee Postojna handed over the management of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts Ljubljana for an indefinite period. The Academy has also taken over the building Notranjska Museum, said the museum allowed to stay on the ground floor of this building. In these places today operates SASA. In 1995 he had Notranjski museum due to renovation of the old mansion in the middle of the city to move into the building in Ljubljana in the 10 rooms, which it shares with the Music School. The museum is also in 1995 finally left without their premises.

After the war of independence in 1991, when the Yugoslav army left Postojna, it seemed that the acquisition of suitable premises for the museum will not be problems. However, it has proved the opposite. After several years of discussions with various institutions in the municipality of Postojna in 2002 with the Ministry of the Interior concluded a preliminary contract, according to which, for the purposes of the Notranjska Museum provide places to Gregorčičeva avenue 2, in which the then acting Police Directorate Postojna, but this the intention is not true.

This municipality "caught the last train" for the use of funds from. so-called Cultural Tolar of the then 50 million tolars (208,646 euros). The funds provided by the Ministry of Culture at the time minister Vasko Simonittija earmarked for rooms Notranjska Museum, they are also the only contribution of the Ministry for this purpose.
The remainder of the funding for a comprehensive and extensive renovation of the building, which lasted five years, to ensure the municipality of Postojna and the European Union.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND DIFFERENT FORMS OF OPERATING STATUS OF THE MUSEUM
Notranjska Museum in its history, acted in various forms of status. Thus, in 1974 it became the Karst Museum Collection at the Institute for Karst Research in Postojna Arts, and in 1990, the then municipality established Notranjska Museum. Last status change began in 2010 when the municipality with the inclusion of the Notranjska Museum in a public institution of knowledge and the preservation of its independence enable it to commence operations in the new premises and ensure the conditions for independent and professional growth of the museum.

After five years of deep and comprehensive renovations Notranjska Museum finally in

The Museum of Natural History, Wroclaw University, is the largest institution of this kind in Poland.

It came into existence in 1814. Its collections comprise numerous unique specimens of extinct and rare species such as the Great Auk (Alca impennis), Passenger Pigeon (Ectopistes migratorius), Carolina Parakeet (Conuropsis carolinensis), Huia (Heteralocha acutirostris) or Marsupial Wolf (Thylacinus cynocephalus).

One of the most precious exhibits in the Museum's collection is a skeleton of the Giant Elk (Megaloceros giganteus), a species got extinct 10 thousand years ago, which is displayed in "The Vertebrates Skeletal System" section. The span of antlers of this species exceeded 3 m.

In its collection the Museum possesses also the best preserved in Poland skull of the Aurochs or Wild Ox (Bos primigenius), the ancestor of domestic cattle. This mammal was entirely exterminated in the Middle Ages.

The highlight of the collection, displayed in "The Animal World" exhibition, is the only in Poland complete skeleton of the largest animal which has ever lived on the earth, namely the Blue Whale (Balaenoptera musculus).

The Museum of Natural History, Wroclaw University, came into existence through a fusion of the former zoological and botanical museums and herbarium, i.e. institutions which originally functioned independently within the University or as branches of its institutes.

The Zoological Museum came into being in 1814, soon after the establishment of the secular University of Wroc3aw, which was then German (1811). It was founded through the care of Prof. Johann Ludwig Christian Gravenhorst and initially housed in the main edifice of the University at Plac Uniwersytecki. Since the very beginning the collections gathered here were for the purpose of science, education and exhibitions open to the public.

Among the most meritorious scientists, whose collections have been preserved until today and used mainly for scientific purpose, (e.g. descriptive types), were professors Adolph Eduard Grube, Carl Chun, Willy Kükenthal, Ferdynand Pax junior. In 1904 the collections, supervised by W. Kükenthal, were transferred to the current building, erected specially for the Museum.

During World War II, when Wroclaw was besieged (Festung Breslau), the building was bombed. Its whole wing having collapsed and the exhibitions, except the Skeletal Hall, got totally ruined, like the rooms intended for didactic purposes. Ca. 50% of the scientific collections survived the war, after which the Museum was taken over by the Polish University authorities. The collections preserved were safeguarded in the charge of Prof. Kazimierz Sembrat and the first curator Doc. Jan Kinel as well as Doc. Zofia Kozikowska (all from Lvov).

The building was renovated, partly reconstructed and the collections secured. The modernization of the building, rearrangement of the collections and organization of the first exhibitions were supervised by Prof. Wladyslaw Rydzewski, the present patron of the Museum. In 1974, on the initiative of Prof. Rydzewski within the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Wrocław University, an institute was distinguished. Due to its profile, the new institution incorporated both zoological and botanical collections.

The botanical collection, created in 1821 on the initiative of Ludolph Christian Treviranus was initially a herbarium at the Botanical Garden. Later, through the efforts of Prof. Heinrich Robert Goeppert, the Botanical Museum was established. Other people of merit include Prof. Carl Adolf Jerzy Lauterbach, who bequeathed to these institutions his huge herbarium collected during an expedition to Melanesia and New Guinea. Another distinguished person was Prof. Ferdynand Pax senior.

During World War II ca. 60% of the botanical collection sustained heavy damage, and all what was saved at different places was again consolidated into one herbarium and secured in the reconstructed building at Kanonia street. Also "Herbarium Silesiacum", which before the war belonged to the society Schlesische Gesellschaft für Vaterländische Kultur, was incorporated to the botanical collection. The cataloguing and preservation activities as well as the new arrangement were initiated by Prof. Krzysztof Rostanski, the most meritorious person in the post-war history of this collection.
