Notranjskem muzeju Postojna. -- Museu Notranjska em Postojna

Od prvih začetkov delovanja, pa vse do danes (maj 2011), muzej ni imel lastnih prostorov. Prva ideja o kraškem muzeju sega v leto 1908.

Prizadevanja mnogih so se pričela uresničevati leta 1947 z zamislijo Lea Vilharja o ustanovitvi muzeja in dokončno utrdila v letu 1949 s poimenovanjem muzeja v Notranjski muzej.

V teh prostorih še danes deluje SAZU.

PRELOMNO LETO 2005 Z ODLOČITVIJO TAKRATNE VLADE DO LASTNIH PROSTOROV

RAZLIČNI PROSTORI IN RAZLIČNE STATUSNE OBLIKE DELOVANJA MUZEJA

Številne kraške jame Pivške kotline: Jama v Lozi, Betalov spodmol, Otoška jama ..., so bile človekovo bivališče že v paleolitiku.

Zbirka srednjeveških in novoveških predmetov

Najmlajša zbirka arheološkega oddelka obsega predvsem predmete visokega in poznega srednjega veka ter deloma novega veka, ki so jih ob zaščitnih arheoloških izkopavanjih našli na področju grajskih kompleksov v Predjami in Snežniku. Slikovni del od 14. do 17. stoletja.

Museu de Arte Moderna, 5 Yusuph Safarov Str. Baku, Azerbaijão.

In March 2009 by the initiative of first lady Mehriban Aliyeva and with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Fund the Museum of Modern Art has been opened in Baku.

There is no fixed subject area in the Museum, no imposed routes. Any of two points, two exhibits, and two segments of the Museum are interconnected. The idea of architectural concept of the Museum – the halls with no corner, open passages, inclined walls under various angle – allows to create multidimensional perspective view of pictures, there is a semblance of motion, and metal beams and designs placed all over the space unite all the parts into a single "moving abstract structure.” There are no confined spaces in the Museum. A two-storey building is designed as a whole with an architectural linking device – an art-object of “forgotten staircase”. The author of the Museum concept, architecture and design, the collection and exposition selection is the artist Altay Sadikh-zadeh.

The museum openness to new trends and experiments gives a possibility to get acquainted more closely with peculiar works of such artists, as Rasim Babayev, Ashraf Murad, Gennady Brejatjuk, Fazil Najafov, Mamed Mustafaev, Aga Oussejnov, Ali Ibadullaev, Mir-Nadir Zeynalov, Fuad Salayev, Farhad Halilov, Darvin Velibekov, Eldar Mamedov, Mikail Abdurahmanov, Museib Amirov, Mahmud Rustamov, Huseyn Hagverdi, Eliyar Alimirzayev, Rashad Babayev, Altay Sadikh-zadeh whose works in the context of the Azerbaijan painting of 1960-70s amaze with the novel approach. The project’s main objective is the protection and development of the Azerbaijan school of painting, including the support program of young, bright and already recognized artists, such as Niyaz Najafov, Rashad Babayev, Vugar Muradov, whose works are also exposed in our Museum. Nevertheless, the Museum exposition has products of great European masters – founders of avant-garde style in the world art – Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, and Marc Chagall. Also the classics of the western realism are presented by several pictures from private collection. In the concept of the Museum the key idea was a special approach in the formation of a special space for framing of modern Azerbaijan art, avoiding of analogy to well known modern European museums.

The Azerbaijan fine arts could be named as “internal memory” of our people. Also the collection of Azerbaijan classics of figurative art in this period is presented, they are: Sattar Bahlulzade, Tair Salahov, Mikail Abdullaev, Huseyn Aliev, Tagi Tagiev, Nadir Abdurahmanov, Elmira Shahtahtinskaya, Nadir Kasumov, Oktay Sadikh-zadeh, Tokay Mamedov, Togrul Narimanbekov, Omar Eldarov. The Museum of Modern Art is an original well of masterpieces of the modern epoch, presenting over 800 works of art of the Azerbaijan artists and sculptors of the last 70 years. The part of the exposition includes "the unknown" layer of national art referring to the layer of "another" art, generated at period of the Soviet regime. These are unique works of Ashraf Murad, Kamal Ahmed, Mirjavad Javad, Rasim Babayev, which have been rescued by the Museum from inevitable destruction. The presence at the exposition of the works of these masters is a tribute of historical justice.

Contrary to classical museum traditions, the exposition proceeds even out of the exhibition space, being present at spaces of art cafe and the restaurant, included into Museum structure. In the Museum also takes place the exposition of children’s fine arts, giving possibility for development children’s interests and familiarizing them with the world of beauty; a video-hall meant for display of documentaries; exhibition hall for private exhibitions, and also a library and a bookshop in which the collection of books on world art, architecture and sculpture are presented for the visitors of the Museum.

Another joining factor is the color –every part of the museum is white. The museum itself is a showcase of avant-guard art with its free architectural forms, conspicuous metallic structures, a well-chosen and artistically designed exposition of paintings and sculptures.

Historical Museum of the Municipality of Krakow, Pomorska Street, ul. Pomorska 2

This branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow is located in the Silesian House, built in the 1930's as a youth hostel and dormitory for students from Silesia. During the Second World War it became a detention centre for the Nazi political police force, the Gestapo. Throughout the occupation, the building of the Silesian House was a place of torture and suffering for thousands of Poles and people of other nationalities. In the spaces of the first and second storeys, interrogations were conducted of people from the prison on ul. Montelupich. In the cellars, which were converted into cells, people were held after arrests. Gestapo officers subjected the prisoners to brutal torture, which sometimes led to crippling injuries and deaths. On the walls of the three spaces used as cells, original inscriptions from the years 1943 to 1945 (about 600 altogether) were left by the interrogation victims.

The basic mission of the branch is to care for this historic site of suffering of many thousands of Poles - the cells of the former Gestapo detention centre in Krakow. The permanent exhibit, entitled "Between the Gestapo and the NKVD. Repressions of Cracovians 1939-1945-1956", presents the most important events of Krakow's history between 1936 - 1956.

The museum has prepared a new tour route, known as the "Route of Remembrance”. It consists of three museum branches: the Oskar Schindler Enamelware Factory, the Eagle Pharmacy, and Pomorska Street. The concept of the route is to display the tragic wartime history of Krakow.

The Royal City of Krakow is the most recognizable Polish brand in the world - a magical city referred to as "the Athens of the North" or "the Slavic Rome".

For centuries it has attracted visitors from every corner of the globe with its unique atmosphere, rich traditions and the inexplicable genius loci which continues to infuse both artists and ordinary people with a special energy as they stroll through the city. In this space filled with history, art, architecture, legends and lyrical nostalgia, the historical past is harmoniously intertwined with the richness of contemporary artistic, cultural, academic, business and social life. Every year, more than 40 festivals and about 3,000 concerts and performances take place in Krakow. The cultural calendar abounds in prestigious events such as Misteria Paschalia, the Jewish Culture Festival or the Sacrum Profanum, recognized by the British magazine "Gramophone" as one of the world's most fascinating cultural events. Krakow has a virtually unlimited potential of tourist attractions. The city successfully combines historical prestige with the quality of life of a modern metropolis. In 2009, nearly 8 million guests visited the city. The rapid development of Krakow's transport and tourist infrastructure has made it a frequent venue of symposiums, conferences and business meetings.

Krakow's history mirrors Poland's national identity and resonates with a deep cultural heritage stretching back for a millennium. Nowhere else can you find so many treasures of Polish culture and such a dense concentration of monuments and traces of the lives of distinguished people, including scientists and artists. Fully one quarter of the nation's art collections are housed and maintained in Krakow! The largest monument site in Poland is also situated in the city - Wawel, which encompasses over 6,000 priceless architectural objects. Krakow's museums are home to the nation's largest collection of works of art, and they make up an integral part of the city's landscape. This collection contains such gems as Hans Dorn's 15th-century sky globe, and the most precious relic of the region's pre-Christian Slavic society - the stone Zbruch Idol, dating from the turn of the 10th century.

In acknowledgement of Krakow's contribution to world culture, the city's historical and architectural Old Town was registered by UNESCO in the 1st World Cultural Heritage List in 1978. The decision states that "Krakow grants to future generations this unique collection of monuments of ancient culture - outstanding works of art and architecture".

Thanks to its artistic atmosphere, extraordinary architecture, abundance of monuments and, most of all, its everyday celebration of culture and art, Krakow was awarded the prestigious title of "European Capital of Culture" by the European Union in 2000.

Following this momentous distinction, Krakow has recently received a large number of prestigious recommendations. Its historical Main Market Square was selected by the readers of "National Geographic" as one of the 30 most beautiful places in the world. As many as 16 restaurants from Krakow have been included in the red Michelin guidebook and, according to the American bi-weekly "Forbes", Krakow is Poland's second most attractive city for business.

- - A tale of love between a teacher and muse, that breaks boundaries of gender boundaries.

-
I 1904 giftede Gerda Wegener, f.

A contentious work rediscovered
-

This led to a plethora of posts in politics for and against the soulful, subtle symbolism, as you saw the picture to represent. Opponents was nicknamed 'farm painters'.
