Cidade do Vaticano, (Ecclesia) – Os Museus do Vaticano vão acolher uma exposição dedicada à arte sacra bielorrussa, a partir de hoje até 25 de julho, onde se mostram “imagens, ícones de vários séculos e as obras mais representativas” dessa tradição.
“O ecumenismo constrói-se também com relações e com intercâmbios culturais. As relações culturais com as nações do leste europeu, em particular, com as de confissão ortodoxa, estão em primeiro lugar nos desejos e nos projetos da Santa Sé”, afirmou diretor dos Museus do Vaticano.
Segundo Antonio Paolucci, vão ser apresentadas ao público “imagens sacras, ícones de vários séculos e as obras mais representativas da tradição artística bielorrussa”.
A Rádio Vaticano observa que uma parte considerável de ícones e objetos litúrgicos antigos do país do leste estão em museus estatais mesmo depois das igrejas de onde foram retirados terem “sido reabertas há mais de vinte anos”.
Para Antonio Paolucci sobre uma mudança de realidade “é preciso”, em primeiro lugar, ter “em consideração a segurança das obras”, afinal em Itália também “seguem esse critério”.
“Em linha de princípio, é positivo que as obras de arte sacra se conservem no lugar onde nasceram. Mas quando as condições de segurança e de correta conservação são carentes, é justo transferi-las para os museus. É preciso avaliar cada caso individualmente", sublinhou o diretor dos Museus do Vaticano.
A emissora católica informa que oportunidade de realizar a exposição de arte sacra bielorussa nasceu num encontro entre o secretário de Estado da Santa Sé, o cardeal Pietro Parolin, com as autoridades da República de Belarus (Bielorrússia), em março de 2015.
É a primeira vez que obras de arte do Leste da Europeu vão ser expostas nos Museus do Vaticano e o seu responsável adianta que estão a trabalhar numa exposição de arte sacra russa, “que será aberta, talvez, daqui a um ano”.
