Divided into two or three sessions, the creative workshops of the Museum of the East promise to occupy the month of November with new challenges and learning inspired by the traditional Asian arts.
The ceramic jewelry workshop starts today and is divided into three sessions (the next two will be on November 13 and 17) and teaches the basis for creating small personalized objects, inspired by details and fragments of the museum's works. Participants will learn how to model and decorate various pieces that will later be applied to pendants, earrings, rings, strings, or bracelets of their choice.
"What is the haiku?" will be the course given by the specialist in Japanese culture and literature Leonilda Alfarrobinha on 11 and 18 November. In these two sessions, participants will get to know this practice better and will have the opportunity to read, interpret and experience the writing of haiku poetry. Also in these days will be running the workshop of initiation to Chinese painting that intends to disseminate the materials, techniques and how to perform this art form.

Workshops de joalharia, pintura chinesa e origami arrancam hoje no Museu do Oriente. Portugal.
Divididos em duas ou três sessões, os workshops criativos do Museu do Oriente prometem ocupar o mês de novembro com novos desafios e aprendizagens inspirados nas artes tradicionais asiáticas.
Começa hoje o workshop de joias em cerâmica que está dividido em três sessões (as próximas duas serão nos dias 13 e 17 de novembro) e ensina as bases para a criação de pequenos objetos personalizados, inspirados em pormenores e fragmentos de obras do museu. Os participantes aprenderão a modelar e a decorar várias peças que serão mais tarde aplicadas em pendentes, brincos, anéis, fios ou pulseiras à sua escolha.
"O que é o haiku?" será o curso dado pela especialista em cultura e literatura japonesa Leonilda Alfarrobinha nos dias 11 e 18 de novembro. Nestas duas sessões, os participantes ficarão a conhecer melhor esta prática e terão a oportunidade de ler, interpretar e experimentar a escrita de poesia haiku. Também nesses dias estará a decorrer o workshop de iniciação à pintura chinesa que pretende divulgar os materiais, as técnicas e a forma de executar essa forma de arte.
