Biserica Sfântul Nicolae-Copou - Biserica Sfântul Nicolae-Copou este situată în Iași la capătul bulevardului Carol din cartierul Copou. -- St. Nicholas Church-Copou - St. Nicholas Church in Iasi-Copou is located at the end Copou Carol Boulevard neighborhood.

Ctitorul principal al bisericii este parintele Manole Petru. Unul din ctitorii bisericii este si istoricul Nicolae Iorga. Lucrarile de constructie au inceput in anul 1937 si s-au incheiat in anul 1943, la data de 16 aprilie, cand aceasta a fost sfintita de catre mitropolitul Irineu Mihalcescu.

Arhitectonic biserica se încadrează în stilul tradițional moldovenesc, cu elemente moderne. 

Pictura interioară a fost executată de pictorul Vasile Pascu în anii 1962-1965, iar icoanele de pe catapeteasmă și iconostasele au fost pictate de Corneliu Baba. Între 1993-1995 au fost executate picturi și în firidele exterioare ale bisericii.

St. Nicholas Church in Iasi-Copou is located at the end Copou Carol Boulevard neighborhood.

Principal founder of the church is Manole father Peter. One of the founders of the church is the historian Nicolae Iorga. Construction work began in 1937 and ended in 1943, to April 16, when it was consecrated by Metropolitan Irinej Mihalcescu.

Architecturally the church fall into Moldavian traditional style with modern elements.



Interior painting was done by the painter Vasile Pascu in the years 1962-1965, and the icons of the iconostasis and the iconostasis were painted by Corneliu Baba. Between 1993-1995 they were executed paintings and exterior niches of the church.
