Curitiba será palco do maior leilão beneficente de obras de arte dos últimos 10 anos, com peças de importantes nomes das artes plásticas do Paraná e São Paulo, como Tarsila do Amaral, Leda Catunda, Tomie Ohtake, Portinari, Miguel Bakun, entre outros. Parte da renda será revertida ao serviço de oncologia do Hospital Pequeno Príncipe. Organizado pela casa de leilões Mazo, com apoio institucional das galerias Simões de Assis e SIM Galeria, o pregão ocorre no dia 10 de novembro, às 20h, no Graciosa Country Club e será comandado pelo leiloeiro público oficial Helcio Kronberg. Os interessados podem fazer o pré-cadastro no site do leiloeiro ( http://www.hkleiloes.com.br ) ou no site da casa de leiloaria www.mazoleilões.com.br . Os lances são livres. As obras serão exibidas em uma rota expográfica, que será dividida entre o Shopping Pátio Batel (de 25/10 a 6/11) e o Edifício Ícaro (de 29/10 a 8/11).
De acordo com a diretora executiva do Hospital Pequeno Príncipe, Ety Forte Carneiro, os recursos serão aplicados nas atividades de assistência e pesquisa. “Esses recursos nos permitirão garantir um atendimento de excelência a crianças de todo o país e ainda desenvolver estudos que buscam diagnósticos precoces e mais precisos, que contribuem para reduzir a mortalidade infantil”, diz.
Segundo o leiloeiro Helcio Kronberg, este é o maior leilão de obras de artes dos últimos 10 anos na capital paranaense. “Há uma década Curitiba não recebe um leilão com nomes tão expressivos das artes plásticas brasileira. O mais importante é que parte do dinheiro arrecadado vai beneficiar as crianças atendidas pelo Pequeno Príncipe”, diz.

Tarsila do Amaral
Uma das mais importantes pintoras brasileiras do movimento modernista no Brasil, Tarsila do Amaral é conhecida por usar em suas obras de artes cores vivas, influenciadas pelo cubismo (uso de formas geométricas), assim como o dadaísmo e do futurismo, além de abordar temas sociais, do cotidiano e paisagens do Brasil e ter uma estética fora do padrão. Algumas de suas obras mais conhecidas são o Abaporu (1928) e Os Operários (1933).
Vik Muniz
Conhecido no mundo todo por utilizar matérias-primas insólitas, como geleia, chocolate, xarope, vinho, materiais recicláveis, fios de cabelo, diamante, e muitas outras, Vik Muniz é um artista plástico brasileiro, fotógrafo e pintor e tem como objetivo alcançar um público que não costuma ir a galerias de arte. Atualmente radicado nos Estados Unidos, sua obra está representada nas coleções de grandes museus internacionais como The Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Contemporary Art of Los Angeles; Metropolitan Museum of Art; MoMA, Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo e o Victoria and Albert Museum.
