Quem quiser conhecer melhor a história da identidade afro-brasileira, das religiões de matriz africana e seus locais da expressão em Curitiba precisava ver a exposição do projeto Lugares de Axé: inventário dos terreiros de candomblé de Curitiba e região metropolitana.

O conteúdo da pesquisa, com textos, fotos e vídeos, está disponível no site do projeto, que será lançado nesta sexta-feira (22), no Memorial de Curitiba.

O projeto fez um mapeamento referente aos espaços onde são realizadas as práticas religiosas afro-brasileiras na cidade de Curitiba (PR). A iniciativas são realizadas em parceria com o Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan), a partir de experiências de identificação e salvaguarda desenvolvidas com terreiros das cidades de Salvador (BA), Belo Horizonte e Porto Alegre (RS).

Praça Tiradentes

Na ocasião, com a presença de representantes das casas inventariadas, será entregue ao Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan) o pedido de registro dos Irôkos da Praça Tiradentes como patrimônio imaterial brasileiro que, caso aceito, entrará em processo para inscrição no Livro de Lugares, sendo inserido nas políticas de salvaguarda desenvolvidas pela instituição.
