Adoradores da franquia De Volta Para o Futuro, animem-se! Após uma boa restauração, a versão original do DeLorean utilizado nas filmagens da trilogia está em exposição em um museu de Los Angeles. A esperança é que o carro viaje no tempo mundo afora e acabe chegando aqui no Brasil, assim como aconteceu com o Trono de Ferro de Game of Thrones.

Considerado um dos carros mais icônicos do cinema, vários DeLorean foram usados por Doc (Christopher Lloyd) e Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) ao longo dos filmes, porém havia uma versão principal chamada de A que era muito mais detalhada e cheia de parafernalhas futuristas. É essa unidade A do carro que está exposta no Petersen Automotive Museum, considerado um dos maiores museus de automóveis do mundo. No primeiro dia da exposição, o evento ainda ofereceu um bate-papo com Bob Gale, produtor e roteirista de De Volta Para o Futuro.

No passado, o DeLorean original já havia sido exposto na Universal Studios e acabou danificado ao longo dos anos que passou no local, porque os fãs retiravam peças do veículo para levarem de recordação para casa. Segundo o jornal L.A. Weekly, a restauração, que durou cerca de dois anos, deixou o DeLorean A ainda mais completo do que na época das filmagens.
