O processo licitatório para as obras do Museu da Borracha, localizado no centro de Rio Branco, devem finalizar, após o prédio ficar com portas fechadas para o público por cinco meses, devido o perigo de um incêndio. A expectativa dos gestores do Departamento de Patrimônio Histórico e Cultural do Acre (DPHC) é que o contrato seja assinado a e as obras sejam finalizadas no próximo mês.
“Teve um curto circuito na parte externa do prédio e após análise constatamos que havia a possibilidade de um incêndio se o prédio não fosse interditado. Nós ficamos com medo e fechamos, porque uma vez perdido aquele acervo nunca mais nós conseguiríamos reavê-lo”, comenta Libério de Souza, diretor do DPHC.
De acordo com o diretor, o processo de licitação é demorado e depende de outros setores do governo estadual. A falta de interesse das empresas de construções, segundo ele, dificultam a situação. “Esses pequenos projetos de R$ 30 a 60 mil as empresa não querem, elas acham que a margem de lucro é muito pequena então não concorrem. Até encontrar uma com interesse, responsabilidade, no nosso caso é demorado”, afirma.
O diretor comentou anda que o prédio está fechado para o público, mas que o setor administrativo continuou trabalhando normalmente e que as pesquisas ao acervo eram feitas, sempre que possível, em outro espaço. “Quando é uma pesquisa muito urgente a gente abre um exceção, explicávamos a situação e o pesquisador fazia o estudo sem utilizar energia na sacada da parte de fora. Os guias de visitação nós distribuímos para outros espaços do estado, como todos estão com equipes pequenas, aproveitamos para tirar as férias pendentes dos funcionários”, explicou.
