The exhibition includes 3D displays and projections of the manufacturing processes of handmade pieces in Geyao porcelain, bamboo sculpture and Gandhara sculptural art. On Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., three lectures will be held open to the public, especially the one given by Zhang Rong, a former Chinese ceramic collector, now living in Japan. Chinese renowned expert on ancient pottery and Buddhist arts, Liang Xiao Xin, will also be in the territory to talk about Gandhara art.

Inaugurada no "The Venetian Macao - Resort - Hotel" e se prolonga até 10 de Abril – tem como mote “ ‘Uma Faixa, Uma Rota’, a herança da técnica de artesanato”.
Este ano os organizadores do certame procuram “enfatizar as interacções entre a cultura do antigo e do presente, promovendo as iniciativas desenvolvidas ao abrigo do projecto ‘Uma Faixa,Uma Rota’ e apresentando a essência da cultura chinesa. Ao mesmo tempo, querem contribuir para a promoção da herança da estética tradicional chinesa e do seu artesanato refinado”, refere a organização.
De acordo com Sandra Pan, directora de operações e responsável pela exposição este ano, mais de 40 expositores e artesãos relacionados com o património cultural imaterial e acima de 70 expositores de arte antiga vão estar representados no evento, que se realiza no Centro de Convenções e Exposições do Venetian Resort.
A responsável estima que mais de 10 mil visitem a mostra ao longo dos vários dias de exposição. Este ano, os organizadores investiram mais recursos na promoção do evento em Macau, em Guangzhou, em Shenzhen e em Hong Kong, acrescentou Sandra Pan. A responsável adiantou ainda que a organização vai trazer ao território uma delegação de várias centenas de colecionadores, investidores e representantes de entidades governamentais provenientes daquelas regiões – bem como de Taiwan e de outros lugares – para mostrar os produtos em exposição e negociar a sua venda. Os produtos expostos têm origem na República Popular da China, o mesmo sucedendo com o património imaterial em destaque, nomeadamente as actuações artísticas e musicais.
A exposição deste ano acrescenta um leilão, uma área de venda de produtos e espectáculos de exibição de património imaterial. Entre as actuações previstas contam-se espectáculos de ópera “Yue”, pela Ópera de Sichuan, “Face Changing” e ainda a execução de um espectáculo musical pela orquestra de bambu Shanghai Jiangnan e do instrumento de cordas Guqin, de Guangling, Yangzhou. Os espectáculos vão decorrer entre as 19h30 e as 21h30.
A exposição de património cultural intangível inclui a mostra de diferentes instrumentos como o Guqin, um instrumento musical chinês de sete cordas, e do Yangqin, outro tipo de instrumento de cordas, originário da Pérsia. Em destaque estarão também pinturas esculpidas em madeira de Yangzhou, oito peças de artesanato feitas originalmente para o palácio imperial de Pequim – incluindo esculturas em materiais como jade, marfim, laca e filigrana – e ainda peças de cerâmica trabalhadas em argila da província de Zhejiang.
A exposição inclui mostras e projecções em 3D de processos de fabrico de peças artesanais em porcelana de Geyao, de escultura em bambu e de arte escultórica de Gandhara. No sábado, das 14 às 17 horas, serão conduzidas três palestras abertas ao público, com destaque para a ministrada por Zhang Rong, coleccionador de cerâmica antiga chinesa, agora a viver no Japão. O reputado especialista chinês em cerâmica antiga e artes budistas, Liang Xiao Xin, também vai estar no território para falar sobre arte Gandhara.
