MUSEUM pandji Tisna Singaraja, Bali, Indionesia --

Singaraja, September 12, 2009. I was going to the Museum Bulelang but the museum was closed in the morning. Also not seen the board scheduled visit. A mother passed when I was sitting on the stairs. I was asked what time the museum is usually open. Without answering this question refers to the mother there is a museum in the back.

Butting shocked when I got there. Turns Museum Pandji Tisna or rather Puri Agung Singaraja. It Pandji Tisna (1908-1978) who wrote Sukreni Girl Bali? Author once in high school I learned and heard my teacher say he is the King of Bali, so publish my wonder why King Bali to write a novel. Without ever occurred to one day I would get here. Moreover, the encounter with the legendary typewriter used to write the novel.

Royal typewriter has for many years used the banner Tisna to write novels and poetry. Really have old he is. Rust has been silent, print letters without trace any longer on the keys. But not relieve him has accompanied the banner Tisna in the course of a long time. Together with the current depressed or elated. The friend had died in 1978. Old Typewriters now dwell in the past purnabaktinya. Silence was his now, and yet not without a sense he knows so much.

'On the edge of a small road winding among coconut gardens leading to Bingin Banjah, the village can not be called a true village, just a bunch of people farmer alone, was a tavern.'

What he had in mind when Pandji Tisna start typing the story Sukreni Bali Girl (SGB).

SGB published in 1936. The story takes the stage at a small roadside shop in the winding. The events then taking place here. Among Men Country Luh Sukreni trap without realizing Sukreni is his own child. Because Sukreni still a baby when left Men State moved from Karangasem to Buleleng.
Later on in this shop police orderlies I Gusti Made Tusam swinging his saber slashing the neck I Gustam, while those who want to dibasminya turned out to be his son that was born from the rape crime Sukreni.

Karma, karma tell. So once I learned about the dominant color in Sukreni Girl Bali. If the liver maintain and do evil intent then eventually that will hurt is yourself. Humans will reap bitter because planting misconduct. But what Sukreni.

SGB published in English under the title The Rape of Sukreni (1987) by the Lontar Foundation. This title reminds me of Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) the work of the Philippine hero Jose Rizal. The story of the country in the colonial metaphor. Often did I feel if Sukreni not solely a girl from the island of Bali. She was raped by the invaders Bali. That this story contains the promise of someday offenders would receive in return, it gave me a sense of sadness the author witnessed the colonized country and the suffering of the people. He wanted to do something, at least encourage them that life will not always so.

Stepping out of the castle looks at an intersection stands the Statue Gusti banner Way, King Buleleng 1660-1700 Pandji Tisna ancestors. Along Jalan Veteran, there are several important buildings. Gedong Kirtya probably the only museum palm in Indonesia. Captivate find in front of Elementary School No. 1 and 2 Package Court stands a statue of a man dressed in Java. Several school children who do not know who I asked the figure. An elderly man stopping his bike. He told me that it was the father figure of Bung Karno, Sukemi Sosrodiharjo ever taught.

Singaraja does have many interesting sides and unpleasant surprises.
Alfred Russel Wallace was never told, 'It was after having spent two years in Borneo, Malacca and Singapore, that I made a somewhat involuntary visit to Reviews These islands on my way to Macassar. Had I been Able to Obtain a direct passage to that place from Singapore, I should probably never have gone near them, and should have missed some of the most important discoveries of my whole expedition the East.

Buleleng, Singaraja harbor is where Wallace landed when stopping in several islands before reaching Napier. While some of the most important discoveries include the observation that large differences flora islands separated Strait of Lombok (Bali and Lombok) can not be explained by simply relying on the physical differences between the two regions. The fundamental difference is so great according to Wallace that can be set into its own in the zoology department of our globe. Here no one else we read the forerunner of the birth of the Wallace Line.

If Ternate known to the world as a place of Wallace describes evolutionary thinking to Charles Darwin (George Beccaloni and Charles Smith calls the letter was written in Dodinga, Halmahera) then it should not lose style Singaraja, aka losing campaign.

Indeed Singaraja has a variety of sides to be proud of than kiraannya.

MUSEUM PANDJI TISNA
SINGARAJA, BALI

Singaraja, 12 September 2009.

Karma, ceritakan karma.

Judul ini mengingatkanku kepada Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) karya Jose Rizal pahlawan Filipina.

PATUNG GUSTI PANDJI SAKTI

Alfred Russel Wallace pun pernah menceritakan, ‘It was after having spent two years in Borneo, Malacca and Singapore, that I made a somewhat involuntary visit to these islands on my way to Macassar. Had I been able to obtain a passage direct to that place from Singapore, I should probably never have gone near them, and should have missed some of the most important discoveries of my whole expedition the East.’
