O escritório Asymptote Architecture divulgou planos para o novo Hermitage Modern Contemporary e para uma torre de 150 metros de altura proposta para a região conhecida como ZiL - área industrial mais antiga da cidade e antiga fábrica soviética de automóveis. O novo museu foi, segundo os arquitetos, inspirado na pintura "Proun" de El Lissitzky, que deu forma aos "terraços internos" do edifício.

The firm Asymptote Architecture unveiled plans for the new Hermitage Modern and Contemporary a tower 150 meters in height proposed for the region known as ZiL - oldest industrial area of the city and former Soviet factory cars.
