A Filigrana e o Traje à Vianesa será “uma das grandes exposições” que vai marcar a reabertura, em setembro de 2017, do Museu do Design e da Moda (MUDE). O anúncio foi feito hoje em Viana do Castelo pela diretora Barbara Coutinho no final do cortejo histórico-etnográfico das festas da Agonia.

A responsável explicou que essa exposição resultará de “uma parceria entre a Câmaras de Lisboa e de Viana do Castelo”.

“Vai ser uma exposição organizada e comissariada pelo próprio museu que terá, necessariamente, que ter uma grande parceria de muitos agentes locais porque aquilo que queremos levar a Lisboa e mostrar ao mundo inteiro o melhor de Viana”, explicou.

Barbará Coutinho classificou como “fundamental” a sua presença, este ano, nas festas d’Agonia “para assistir ao vivo” aos principais números da romaria por considerar “impossível” fazer uma exposição como a que está prevista para a reabertura do MUDE, após obras de requalificação, “sem ter sentido toda a energia da festa”.

“Estou completamente maravilhada pela participação popular, pela beleza e pela força que emana desta festa. No sábado, na procissão ao mar, as lágrimas correram-me pelo rosto de tanta emoção”, frisou.

A responsável revelou que a estadia na cidade durante a edição 2016 da romaria d’Agonia permitiu “perceber melhor, conhecer por dentro” porque “um dos grandes objetivos do MUDE é ser um museu nacional, olhando para as tradições, a cultura, a identidade e mostrando-as”.
