O músico italiano Pietro Prosser apresenta um recital com a tiorba de 1608 da coleção do Museu da Música, no sábado às 18:00, anunciou esta instituição em Lisboa.

Pietro Prosser apresenta no museu, no Alto dos Moinhos, um recital intitulado "Toccate e Partite - Musica per tiorba tra la Roma e la Bologna del Seicento", que inclui peça dos compositores Giovani Girolano Kapsberger, Alessandro Piccinini Pietro Paolo Meli e Bellerofonte Castaldi.

A tiorba constitui, no início do século XVII, um interessantíssimo meio de experimentação técnica e compositiva. Piccinini, Meli e sobretudo Kapsberger eram na época celebrados como virtuosos deste instrumento, cuja invenção terá suscitado um espanto análogo ao das primeiras experiências Gibson na guitarra elétrica.

A tiorba que Pietro Prosser vai tocar no sábado foi construída em Roma, em 1608, pelo alemão Matheus Buchenberg, "famoso construtor de alaúdes e tiorbas", segundo nota do museu.

O instrumento foi adquirido em 1903, pelo compositor Alfredo Keil, autor do Hino Nacional, a Louis Pierrard, construtor e restaurador belga.

"A tiorba que este ano celebra 408 anos de existência sofreu várias intervenções ao longo dos tempos, há um restauro de 1810, a que se seguiram outros dois, já no século XX: um em 1903, e o de Gilberto Grácio, em 1978".

"Neste último, o instrumento não ficou tocável, mas o braço, que se encontrava descaracterizado, foi modificado segundo o plano de um instrumento de Buchenberg pertencente à coleção do Victoria & Albert Museum, em Londres e em 2014, no âmbito do ciclo 'Um Músico, Um Mecenas', e através de mecenato foi finalmente possível recuperar-se o som desta tiorba, tendo o restauro estado a cargo do construtor e restaurador de cordofones Orlando Trindade", explica o Museu.

Neste último restauro "foram corrigidas, com êxito, as deficiências que o instrumento apresentava ao nível da caixa e do braço", afirma o museu.

Licenciado em Musicologia na Faculdade de Musicologia de Cremona da Universidade de Pavia, em Itália, Pietro Prosser diplomou-se em alaúde no Conservatório de Santa Cecília de Roma, em 2001.

Como alaudista colaborou com diversos grupos italianos que seguem a linha de interpretação historicamente informada, designadamente a Baroque Bozen Orchestra, L'Arte dell'arco, Orchestra Barocca di Venezia, Accademia Bizantina e o Ensemble Zefiro, assim como vários grupos estrangeiros, nomeadamente a Capella Savaria, da Hungria, Collegium 1704, de Praga, e o Piccolo Concerto, de Viena.

O músico italiano colaborou, entre outras, com a Wiener Symphoniker, Hamburgische Stadtsoper, Camerata Bern, I Solisti Veneti, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, e a Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino.

Segundo o museu realizou inúmeras gravações vídeo e centenas de gravações áudio, dedicadas maioritariamente a repertório de J. G. Albrechtsberger, "exemplo do seu maior interesse musical e musicológico, pelo qual é reconhecido a nível mundial e um convidado regular do Deutsche Lautengesellschaftt".
