Somente no Palacete Provincial, localizado na Praça Heliodoro Balbi, na avenida Sete de Setembro, no Centro, há cinco museus. Um deles é o Museu de Numismática Bernardo Ramos, um dos mais importantes da América Latina. O seu acervo conta com valiosas coleções de moedas da antiga Grécia, Império Romano, além de moedas do Brasil em seus períodos de Colônia, Império e República. Também há cédulas, medalhas, selos e condecorações. 

O local também abriga o Museu da Imagem e do Som do Amazonas e a Pinacoteca do Estado. O primeiro apresenta a produção regional da cultura amazônica (cinema, fotografia, música, televisão, rádio, revistas e outros) e ainda oferece a exposição Máquinas do Tempo, com acervo de máquinas fotográficas antigas e sua evolução histórica. O segundo tem um acervo com mais de mil obras nas mais diversificadas técnicas e autoria de mais de 300 artistas dos séculos XIX, XX e XXI.


Os outros dois museus que podem ser encontrados no Palacete Provincial são o Museu de Arqueologia, que apresenta fragmentos arqueológicos encontrados na região Amazônica, ferramentas e utensílios utilizados na coleta, e o Museu Tiradentes, que acolhe a história da Polícia Militar do Amazonas, com mobiliários de época no estilo manuelino, além da exposição “Flagrantes da História” com apresentação de armamento, armaduras e equipamentos utilizados pela corporação e Corpo de Bombeiros.

Os visitantes também encontram no palacete a exposição Esculturas do Mundo, que disponibiliza uma coleção de réplicas de obras dos museus da França. Representando oito países e períodos distintos da História da Arte, a mostra reúne esculturas da Pré-História, Egito e Grécia Antiga, Renascença, Séculos XVII e XVIII e Modernismo. As pessoas ainda podem conhecer a sala de Exposição Temporária José Bernardo Michilles: o escritório da Obra de Restauração.


'Experimente Museus'

Até dezembro deste ano, a Secretaria de Estado de Cultura (SEC) realiza nos museus que administra o “Projeto Experimente Museus”. O objetivo é oferecer aos visitantes experiências palatáveis através de um menu de programação fixas e os “pratos do mês”, como apresentações artísticas, palestras, visitas guiadas a serem degustadas.

“Nós estamos oferecendo experiências diferenciadas para que os visitantes tenham a oportunidade de interagir com o acervo sob os mais variados olhares, despertando o interesse dele, visitante, para que retorne ao museu e tenha uma nova experiência”, explica a diretora do Departamento de Museus da SEC, Cleia Viana.

Ela destaca que cada museu da SEC contará com programação pertinente ao seu cervo de modo a oferecer aos visitantes experiências novas seja através de visitas guiadas para grupos específicos como idosos e pessoa com deficiências até circuito com nova abordagem dos acervos, atrações artísticas e celebração de datas comemorativas.

“Como uma viagem sensorial. Na gastronomia têm que experimentar os sabores para poder identificá-los, no museu, as pessoas vão vivenciar histórias vivas, pois os museus não lugar de coisa velha. Então, teremos uma programação mais participativa e interativa até o final do ano”, salienta Cleia.

Programação

Neste domingo (25), dentro da programação do “Projeto Experimente Museus”, é a vez de o Museu Casa Eduardo Ribeiro realizar a tradicional visita guiada com personagens caracterizados com roupas do século XIX e com um ator interpretando o governador Eduardo Ribeiro.

Na próxima quinta-feira, haverá apresentação do “Cantinho do Beré”, às 10h, no Museu de Numismática Bernardo Ramos, e no Museu do Homem do Norte, no mesmo horário, o Cine Pipoca exibe filme em homenagem ao Dia Nacional do Idoso. "Desde a abertura do Paço da Liberdade, em 2013, nós temos recebido uma média diária de visitações de 130 a 150 pessoas graças a uma série de eventos, programações e atividades culturais que são realizadas no espaço. O Museu do Paço tem um acervo inicial que compõem uma série de obras de artistas visuais amazonenses, brasileiros e estrangeiros. O próprio entorno do Paço da Liberdade é um grande museu a céu aberto. Temos a Praça Dom Pedro II, que é protagonista dos principais acontecimentos históricos nos períodos Pré-Colonial, Provincial, Republicano e Contemporâneo. A praça é um dos poucos espaços do Brasil que compreende períodos distintos da história local. É um lugar privilegiado, próximo das residências 69 e 77, na rua Bernardo Ramos, que dizem ter sido as primeiras casas de Manaus. E embaixo da Praça Dom Pedro tem um cemitério um indígena cercado de urnas funerárias, muitas delas estão em exposição no Paço da Liberdade, que funciona de segunda a sexta-feira, de 9h às 16h, sábados de 9h às 14h, com entrada gratuita. Isto mostra que temos períodos distintos da história num determinado metro quadrado".

Praças contam a história da cidade

As praças públicas do Centro Histórico de Manaus são um museu a céu aberto. Quem garante é a professora Evany Nascimento, que prepara a segunda edição do livro “Monumentos Públicos do Centro Histórico de Manaus”, no qual conta a história e o significado simbólico destas importantes obras. “Esses objetos compõem a memória da cidade”, aponta.

Evany coordena o Grupo de Pesquisa Intercidade da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA) e sempre promove um circuito pelas praças do Centro para mostrar aos estudantes a história da cidade a partir dos monumentos. “A gente passa pelos objetos e pelas construções e não percebe que eles têm uma história. A ideia das visitas é justamente a de mostrar aquilo que temos que faz parte da nossa história”.

Ela evidencia que tem objetos com mais de 100 anos, trazidos de outros lugares e que fazem parte da economia da borracha, ciclo importantíssimo para a cidade. “Quando as pessoas se dão conta da importância desses monumentos acabam tendo um olhar crítico no sentido de perceber que temos uma história rica. Então, quando a gente conhece mais temos condições de cuidar e preservar esses espaços”.

Entre os monumentos que contam a história de Manaus que a professora destaca estão os coretos e as fontes que há nas praças, bem como os monumentos encontrados nas praças da Saudade e Tenreiro Aranha, além dos monumentos “abertura dos postos”, na praça São Sebastião, da Nossa Senhora da Conceição, na praça do Congresso, e do obelisco na frente da praça do Relógio.

“Os monumentos das praças da Saudade e Tenreiro Aranha, além de grandiosos e luxuosos, são da época da borracha. Já os das praças do Congresso e do Relógio são dos anos 40, época da cidade em crise. Colocando esses objetos um ao lado do outro percebemos a história da cidade em momentos diferentes materializado nesses monumentos que a gente pode passar por eles a qualquer momento. Além de tudo é de graça, não pagamos nada para vê-los”.
