Em artigo publicado, na Folha de S. Paulo, Maria Helena Rubinato Rodrigues de Sousa, 76, filha do cantor e compositor Adoniran Barbosa, que ficou conhecido como o pai do samba paulista, agradece aos responsáveis pelo museu que homenageia seu pai, no kibutz Bror Chail, fundado por brasileiros no sul de Israel. O museu recebeu da Companhia de Trens de Israel o primeiro vagão que chegou do Egito, em 1910: é o "Trem das Onze".

"Trem das Onze" é um dos maiores clássicos entre as canções que homenageiam São Paulo, popularizada pelo grupo "Demônios da Garoa".
Maria Helena afirma que Adoniran amava apaixonadamente a cidade. E mostra mágoa pela (falta de) retribuição da cidade. Leia trechos do artigo dela:

Os responsáveis? Sheila Katzer Bovo, ex-secretária de Educação de Sorocaba (SP), cidade irmã da região de Shaar Hanegev, e o casal Edith e Tzvi Chazan, diretores da Casa Adoniran Barbosa, em Bror Chail.
Pois bem, atendendo ao pedido da diretoria, a Companhia Geral de Trens de Israel doou à Casa Adoniran Barbosa o primeiro vagão que chegou do Egito a Israel em 1910 - ainda na época do Império Otomano na Palestina. O vagão que faz parte da história agora está no terreno do museu e, por obra e graça de Edith e Tzvi, com as nossas cores.
É o Trem das Onze, em Bror Chail”.
