Dance is one of the best expressions of the Greek spirit - its martyrdoms, its conquests and celebrations, its day to day, its immense joys and deep sorrows. In their presentations, the Zorbas group always seeks to convey the myriad of feelings inherent in the way the Greeks see and feel life and the world.
In addition to moments of leisure and entertainment, it also brings a face of culture - beautiful costumes from the mainland and the famous Greek islands and the traditional dishwashing, to the sound of the world-known theme song of the Greek film Zorba - and dance with the public. Zorbas also develops workshops and teaches Greek dance classes.
Anoghianós (Ανωγειανός)
Dance of the island of Crete, the Anoguianos, associated to the dance realized, according to Mythology, by the Kourítes (palace guard).
At Queen Rea's request, the Kourites rhythmically and forcefully beat their feet in the ground and swords against shields so that Kronos, the King of the Titans, would not hear the cry of their newborn son Zeus and find him hidden inside a cave, avoiding , thus, to be swallowed by his father.
The Anoguianos is a characteristic dance of the village of Anóguia Milopotamos - near the cave of Zeus (slope of Mount Ida).
Dance of the Village Anóguia. The group presents dances from Crete, the largest Greek island, inhabited in antiquity by the Minoan civilization, whose palace was in the town of Knossos, site of the labyrinth of the Minotaur, according to mythology.

Brazil, welcomed immigrants from different nations, continues to be an example of peaceful coexistence among descendants of different ethnic groups and generations.
At a time when intolerance between peoples and groups in many countries, involving historical, economic and cultural aspects is increasing, this reality seems far from Brazil.
Certainly, those who live with violence and destruction due to these confrontations may find it strange that some historical enemies in Brazil can enjoy the same stage and auditorium to present their music and dance, in an environment of great cordiality, united for produce a great spectacle.
We believe that this festival is the faithful portrait of this coexistence among peoples - a quality to be exalted at every opportunity.
In addition, we must highlight the cultural importance of this event, as well as the participation of different folk groups.
We believe that, for many of these participating groups, this annual Festival is an important reference for the continuity of its activities, bringing its members to new choreography or rehearsals.
This collective effort of several generations of descendants results in the preservation and diffusion of the traditions of their pioneers - who have undergone the necessary adaptations here, but their essence remained - at the same time that they incorporated changes resulting from the coexistence in the new homeland.
Undoubtedly, this event gives vitality to a process of exchange, bringing cultures together and building the daily life of a country committed to peace and progress for all.
It is with great satisfaction that, once again, dancers, singers, musicians, public and members of the organization can enjoy this unique spectacle - shining by 37 folk groups of different ethnicities.

46º Festival de danças folclóricas. "Um sonho de harmonia entre os povos". Anoghianós (Ανωγειανός)
A dança é uma das melhores expressões do espírito grego – seus martírios, suas conquistas e festas, seu dia a dia, suas imensas alegrias e profundas tristezas. Em suas apresentações, o grupo Zorbás procura sempre transmitir essa miríade de sentimentos inerentes à forma como os gregos veem e sentem a vida e o mundo.
Além de momentos de lazer e entretenimento, traz também uma face da cultura − belíssimos trajes do continente e das famosas ilhas gregas e a tradicional quebra de pratos, ao som da mundialmente conhecida música-tema do filme Zorba, o grego − e dança com o público. O Zorbás também desenvolve oficinas e dá aulas de danças gregas.
Anoghianós (Ανωγειανός)
Dança da ilha de Creta, o Anoguianós, associado à dança realizada, segundo a Mitologia, pelos Kourítes (guarda palaciana).
A pedido da rainha Rea os Kourítes batiam de forma rítmica e forte os pés na terra e espadas contra escudos para que Krónos, o rei dos Titãs, não ouvisse o choro do seu filho recém nascido Zeus e o descobrisse escondido dentro de uma caverna, evitando, assim, que fosse engolido pelo pai.
O Anoguianós é uma dança característica da aldeia de Anóguia Milopotámos – próxima a caverna de Zeus (encosta do Monte Ida).
Dança da Aldeia Anóguia. O grupo apresenta danças de Creta, a maior ilha grega, habitada na antiguidade pela civilização Minoica, cujo palácio ficava na cidade de Knossos, local do labirinto do Minotauro, segundo a mitologia.

46ο Φεστιβάλ Λαϊκών Χορών. "ένα όνειρο της αρμονίας μεταξύ των λαών". Ανώγιαννος (Ανωγειανός) -
Ο Χορός είναι μία από τις καλύτερες εκφράσεις του ελληνικού πνεύματος - οι μαρτύδισμοί, οι κατακτήσεις και οι εορτασμοί του, η μέρα με τη μέρα του, οι τεράστιες χαρές και οι βαθιές θλίψεις του. Στις παρουσιάσεις τους, η ομάδα Ζορμπάς προσπαθεί πάντα να μεταφέρει τις μυριάδες συναισθημάτων που είναι εγγενείς στον τρόπο με τον οποίο οι Έλληνες βλέπουν και νιώθουν τη ζωή και τον κόσμο.
Εκτός από τις στιγμές ψυχαγωγίας και ψυχαγωγίας, φέρνει και το πρόσωπο του πολιτισμού - όμορφα κοστούμια από την ηπειρωτική χώρα και τα περίφημα ελληνικά νησιά και το παραδοσιακό πλύσιμο πιάτων, τον ήχο του παγκοσμίως γνωστού θεματικού τραγουδιού της ελληνικής ταινίας Zorba - με το κοινό. Ο Ζορμπάς αναπτύσσει επίσης εργαστήρια και διδάσκει ελληνικά μαθήματα χορού.
Ανώγιαννος (Ανωγειανός)
Ο χορός του νησιού της Κρήτης, ο Ανώγιανος, που συνδέεται με το χορό, συνειδητοποίησε, σύμφωνα με τη Μυθολογία, οι Κούριττες.
Κατόπιν αιτήματος της Βασίλισσας Ρέα, οι Κούριοι χτύπησαν με ρυθμό και δύναμη τα πόδια τους στο έδαφος και σπαθιά ενάντια στις ασπίδες έτσι ώστε ο Κρόνος, ο Βασιλιάς των Τιτάνων, να μην ακούσει την κραυγή του νεογέννητου γιου τους Δία και να τον βρει κρυμμένο μέσα σε μια σπηλιά αποφεύγοντας, έτσι ώστε να καταπιεί ο πατέρας του.
Ο Ανώγουανός είναι ένας χαρακτηριστικός χορός του χωριού Ανώγεια Μυλοποτάμου - κοντά στο σπήλαιο του Δία (πλαγιά του Όρους Ιδά).
Χορός του χωριού Ανώγεια. Η ομάδα παρουσιάζει χορούς από την Κρήτη, το μεγαλύτερο ελληνικό νησί, που κατοικήθηκε κατά την αρχαιότητα από τον μινωικό πολιτισμό, το παλάτι του οποίου βρισκόταν στην πόλη της Κνωσού, τοποθεσία του λαβυρίνθου του Μινώταυρου, σύμφωνα με τη μυθολογία.

Η Βραζιλία, εξέφρασε την ικανοποίησή της για τους μετανάστες από διαφορετικά έθνη, συνεχίζει να αποτελεί παράδειγμα ειρηνικής συνύπαρξης μεταξύ των απογόνων διαφορετικών εθνοτικών ομάδων και γενεών.
Σε μια εποχή όπου αυξάνεται η μισαλλοδοξία μεταξύ λαών και ομάδων σε πολλές χώρες, με ιστορικές, οικονομικές και πολιτιστικές πτυχές, αυτή η πραγματικότητα φαίνεται να απέχει πολύ από τη Βραζιλία.
Σίγουρα, όσοι ζουν με βία και καταστροφή λόγω αυτών των συγκρούσεων μπορεί να είναι περίεργο ότι ορισμένοι ιστορικοί εχθροί στη Βραζιλία μπορούν να απολαύσουν την ίδια σκηνή και αμφιθέατρο για να παρουσιάσουν τη μουσική και το χορό τους, σε ένα περιβάλλον μεγάλης εγκαρδιότητας, ενωμένοι για να παράγουν ένα μεγάλο θέαμα .
Πιστεύουμε ότι αυτό το φεστιβάλ είναι το πιστό πορτρέτο αυτής της συνύπαρξης μεταξύ των λαών - μια ποιότητα που πρέπει να μεγαλώσει σε κάθε ευκαιρία.
