February 8, 2018 marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Tikhonov, a brilliant actor, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor.

8 февраля 2018 года исполняется 90 лет со дня рождения Вячеслава Васильевича Тихонова – блистательного актёра, народного артиста СССР, Героя Социалистического Труда.
Вячеслав Тихонов снимался в фильмах, многие из которых стали кинематографической классикой ещё при жизни актёра. Он не просто снимался, он жил жизнью своего героя, вместе с ним любил, страдал, боролся.
Одна из его ролей в кино – Николай Стрельцов в фильме «Они сражались за Родину», снятом Сергеем Бондарчуком по одноимённому роману М.А. Шолохова. В. Тихонову удалось передать характер стойкого фронтовика, который после тяжёлой контузии став практически глухонемым, в самый трудный период Великой Отечественной войны добровольно возвращается в строй, в свою часть, чтобы сражаться за Родину.
Множество зрителей высоко оценили эту работу Тихонова, которая не затерялась на фоне актёрского мастерства других участников творческого коллектива – С. Бондарчука, В. Шукшина, Г. Буркова, И. Лапикова, Н. Губенко. Актеры не просто играли роли – они в кадре сражались за свою Родину.
