Christian Stein of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory in Berlin will present the current research on "Knowledge Architectures", the main area of the Excellence Cluster Image Knowledge Gestaltung.
As a founding member of gamelab.berlin, it will show ongoing projects about 1. games as a cultural technique; 2. virtuality; And 3. virtual reality, in addition to the use of games and principles of game design in other environments.
As science and research need to communicate their knowledge to a new audience, museums, exhibitions and open science labs are proving to be promising playgrounds to try new ways of communicating and translating into new media.
In addressing these themes, Stein will also cite research in highly interdisciplinary teams and interdisciplinarity itself.

Christian Stein, do Laboratório Interdisciplinar de Berlim, apresentará as pesquisas atuais sobre "Arquiteturas do Conhecimento", a principal área do Excellence Cluster Image Knowledge Gestaltung.
Como membro fundador do gamelab.berlin, mostrará projetos em andamento sobre 1. jogos como técnica cultural; 2. virtualidade; e 3. realidade virtual, além do uso de jogos e princípios do design de jogos em outros ambientes.
Como a ciência e a pesquisa precisam comunicar seus conhecimentos para um novo público, museus, exposições e laboratórios de ciência aberta estão se revelando playgrounds promissores para experimentar novas formas de comunicação e traduções em novas mídias.
Ao abordar esses temas, Stein também citará a pesquisa em equipes altamente interdisciplinares e a própria interdisciplinaridade.
