Недавно при поддержке Русского географического общества состоялась фотоэкспедиция в Крым, результатом которой стало появление виртуального тура по полуострову, состоящего из десятков сферических панорам.

Сферические панорамы отличаются от обычной фотографии тем, что зритель с помощью компьютерной мыши может «поворачивать голову» на 360° и самостоятельно рассматривать все, что захочет, приближая или удаляя объекты. На большом мониторе создается полное ощущение присутствия.

Практически все съемки в Крыму велись на высотах нескольких сотен метров. Работу проделали операторы AirPano.ru, и теперь зрителям доступна 71 панорама, позволяющая увидеть множество интересных мест полуострова с непривычных ракурсов. В виртуальное путешествие вошли Ласточкино гнездо, вершина Ай-Петри, Артек, Воронцовский дворец, Генуэзская крепость в Судаке и многое другое. Среди «наземных» съемок — Скит святой Анастасии, расположенный неподалеку от Бахчисарая.

Русское географическое общество давно сотрудничает с командой некоммерческого проекта AirPano.ru. В рамках совместной работы ранее были созданы сферические панорамы Эльбруса и Центрального Кавказа, Москвы, Долины гейзеров и других достопримечательностей России.
