Museum "Muong Cultural Space" is a work of art. Rooted deeply inspired by a young painter with aspirations reconstruct entire living space of the Muong. After 10 years of collecting and almost 1 year of construction. To Date 16-12-2007 Museum "Muong Cultural Space" is chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Phu Trong knocked gong officially inaugurated and put into operation. The museum is located on a hill in a valley walls, limestone small, narrow area of 5ha. 80km away from Hanoi to the west, the center of the city of Hoa Binh, Son La 7km direction (located on the new road named Tien Street West).
This is the province capital of Muong people live stock. So far Museum "Muong Cultural Space" has collected and preserved more than 3,000 artifacts. O museu está localizado em uma colina em um paredes vale, calcário área pequena e estreita de 5 ha. 80 km de distância do aeroporto de Hanói para o oeste, o centro da cidade de Hoa Binh, Son La 7 km direcção (localizado na estrada nova chamada Tien Street West). Esta é a capital da província de Muong pessoas vivem estoque. O museu tem uma biblioteca com mais de cinco mil títulos, com diferentes gêneros, como literatura, história, Ciência e Tecnologia ... Especialmente para a Cultura de étnica e cultural Muong. Atender às necessidades dos visitantes de aprendizagem, pesquisadores, estudantes, estudantes.
Até agora Museum "Espaço Cultural Muong" tem recolhido e preservado mais de 3.000 artefatos. Bảo tàng “Không gian Văn hoá Mường”
là một công trình nghệ thuật. Bắt nguồn từ niềm cảm hứng sâu sắc của một Hoạ sĩ trẻ với khát vọng tái hiện lại toàn bộ không gian sống của người Mường. Sau 10 năm sưu tầm và gần 1 năm xây dựng. Đến ngày 16-12-2007 Bảo tàng “Không gian Văn hoá Mường” được chủ tịch Quốc hội Nguyễn Phú Trọng gõ tiếng cồng khai trương và chính thức đi vào hoạt động. Bảo tàng nằm trên vạt đồi trong một thung lũng đá vôi nhỏ, hẹp có diện tích 5ha. Cách Hà Nội 80km về phía tây, cách trung tâm thành phố Hoà Bình 7km hướng đi Sơn La (nằm trên con đường mới mang tên Đường Tây Tiến). Đây vốn là địa bàn sinh sống của người Mường cổ. Bảo tàng “ Không gian văn hoá Mường” là Bảo tàng tư nhân đầu tiên về văn hóa của dân tộc Mường, một dân tộc có bề dày truyền thống văn hoá trong đại gia đình các dân tộc Việt Nam. Công trình được chính chủ nhân của nó bỏ vốn, thiết kế và xây dựng. Bảo tàng được chia làm 2 khu vực chung là:
Bảo tàng không gian văn hóa Mường
khu Tái hiện và khu Trưng bày.
Khu tái hiện: gồm 4 khu nhà sàn (nhà Lang, nhà Ậu, nhà Nóc, nhà Nóc trọi) đại diện cho 4 tầng lớp trong xã hội Mường
Nhà Lang: là tầng lớp có quyền lực cao nhất, nắm quyền thống trị toàn Mường.
Nhà Ậu: là những người giúp việc cho nhà Lang.
Nhà Noóc: là tầng lớp bình dân trong xã hội Mường.
Nhà Nóc Trọi: là tầng lớp bần cùng nhất trong xã hội Mường.
Các ngôi nhà này được sưu tầm và xây dựng từ chính các ngôi nhà cổ thuộc các tầng lớp trong xã hội Mường. Nguyên liệu dùng để làm được lấy từ các loại thảo mộc như: gỗ, tre, nứa, lá…là những loại cây rất gần gũi với người Mường.
Khu trưng bày: gồm các nhà trưng bày theo chủ đề, trưng bày cố định Trong đó có rất nhiều hiện vật có giá trị như: Cồng, Chiêng, Lư , Ninh bằng đồng…) và nhiều các hiện vật về đời sống sinh hoạt, kinh tế, văn hoá….của người mường như: công cụ đánh bắt cá, công cụ nghề dệt, dụng cụ săn bắn, phòng tang ma, đồ dùng sinh hoạt gia đình, xe nước…
Không gian nghệ thuật Muong studio.
Bảo tàng có trung tâm cư trú nghệ sỹ Muong studio nơi trao đổi, giao lưu, sáng tác và triển lãm của các nghệ sỹ trong nước và quốc tế. Tại đây thường xuyên diễn ra các hoạt động nghệ thuật như hội họa, điêu khắc hay sắp đặt ….khách tham quan có thể trực tiếp trao đổi với nghệ sỹ hoặc cảm thụ các loại hình nghệ thuật thông qua các hoạt động này
Thư viện:
Bảo tàng có một thư viện với hơn năm nghìn đầu sách, với nhiều thể loại khác nhau như Văn học, Lịch sử, Khoa học kỹ thuật…Đặc biệt là sách về Văn hóa dân tộc và Văn hóa Mường. Đáp ứng nhu cầu khách tham quan học tập, các nhà nghiên cứu, học sinh, sinh viên.
Đến nay Bảo tàng “Không gian Văn hóa Mường” đã sưu tầm và lưu giữ được hơn 3000 hiện vật. Có thể nói Bảo tàng “Không gian Văn hoá Mường” là một trung tâm trưng bày và lưu giữ quý giá về dân tộc Mường ở Hoà Bình nói riêng và ở Việt Nam nói chung. Nơi đây không chỉ là là nơi để thăm quan, giải trí mà còn là nơi để tìm hiểu, nghiên cứu về giá trị Văn hoá truyền thông của dân tộc Muờng.
Bảo tàng được triển khai xây dựng và phát triển theo quan niệm mới phù hợp với xu thế phát triển chung của Bảo tàng hiện nay. Khách thăm quan đến đây không chỉ được nhìn, ngắm, xem mà còn thực sự hoà mình vào cuộc sống hàng ngày của người dân Mường như làm nương rẫy, giã gạo, dệt vải, quay sợi, thưởng thức các món ăn dân tộc, hoà mình vào không khí âm nhạc lễ hội, các trò chơi dân gian của người Mường.
Lấy “Không gian Văn hoá Mường” làm trung tâm nên cách bày trí đơn giản, gần gũi không cầu kì, không trưng bày trong tủ kính. Nhưng tất cả các chi tiết dù nhỏ nhất ( hàng rào, đường đi, sắp đặt đồ đạc, bàn thờ thổ công…) đều tái hiện lại những nét đặc trưng cơ bản của xã hội Mường về đời sống xã hội, kinh tế, phong tục tập quán của dân tộc Mường – một xã hội Mường thu nhỏ. Vì vậy từ nhân dân các miền trong cả nước, học sinh, sinh viên, cán bộ nghiên cứu… đến khách nước ngoài đều tìm thấy sự hấp dẫn ở đây.
