A bailarina brasileira Amanda Gomes, atual solista da Ópera de Kazan, na Rússia, venceu nesta quinta-feira (28 julho 2016) a Varna International Ballet Competition, uma das mais prestigiadas e tradicionais competições de dança do mundo, na Bulgária.
Nascida em Goiânia, Amanda mudou-se para Joinville em 2004 para iniciar os estudos com o corpo da Escola do Teatro Bolshoi no Brasil. Depois de se formar, integrou a Cia. Jovem do Bolshoi por dois anos.
“Nessa hora, sentimos o conforto pela determinação dela, por todo esforço, pelo sacrifício da distância, e por todos os obstáculos que enfrentou para chegar até lá”, declarou a mãe, Polyana Gomes, no Brasil, após o anúncio da conquista.
Na competição, composta por três etapas – entre balé de repertório, balé clássico e dança contemporânea – Amanda concorreu com outros 140 bailarinos.
Além da medalha de ouro, a bailaria participará, como parte das premiações, de uma apresentação de gala ao lado dos demais premiados do concurso, bem como vai compor a galeria de fotos de antigos vencedores da premiação, como Ekaterina Maksimova (1964), Eva Evdokimova (1970) e Ivan Vassiliev (2006).
A primeira edição da Varna International Ballet Competition, aconteceu em 1964 e, desde então, o concurso é realizado em Varna, na Bulgária, a cada dois anos.

Brazilian dancer Amanda Gomes, current soloist of the Opera of Kazan, Russia, won on Thursday (28 July 2016) to Varna International Ballet Competition, one of the most prestigious and traditional world of dance competitions in Bulgaria.
Born in Goiânia, Amanda moved to Joinville in 2004 to begin studies with the body of the School of the Bolshoi Theater in Brazil. After graduating, he joined the Company. Young Bolshoi for two years.

Бразильский танцор Аманда Gomes, нынешний солист театра оперы Казани, России, выиграл в четверг (28 июля 2016 г.) на конкурсе артистов балета Варна International, один из самых престижных и традиционном мире танцевальных конкурсов в Болгарии.
