Замалчивая тот факт , что " русского " козачества тогда , как такового не существовало вообще , только потому , что оно было единым !!! Безусловно сечей было несколько , включая Донскую , претерпевшую изменения одной из первых ...
Но вернемся к истокам . Я представляю только свой взгляд на вещи , основываясь на собственные умозаключения , сделанные в результате длительных исследований исторических фактов из различных источников .
Первые зачатки форм особого ведения боя , с соблюдением методов северных предков и языческих обрядов заложил еще Святослав Игоревич - сын Княгини Ольги ( он не был крещен вообще ) . Именно эти зачатки и сложили все последущее боевое мастерство отрабатываемое годами , потомками изгнанных волхвов , после крещения Руси .
Хранители древних знаний и обрядов , бежали за пороги Днепра и там на местах языческих капищ , основали свои военные братства - позже нареченные словом " Сечь " . Происходившим от понятия " Засека " ( Метод быстрого разворачивания передвижного войска в степи , с созданием непроходимого укрепления вокруг . Серко просто пристально смотрел на противника в присутствии секундантов , не вынимая сабли . В то время как его соперник , конвульсивно дергаясь в выпадах со шпагой в руках , ранил себя до утраты сознания ...
Это был не единственный феномен Серка . О них можно говорить бесконечно . Но самым интересным было его завещание после смерти , он повелел отрубить себе кисть руки с зажатою в ней саблей и пообещал , что пока эта реликвия будет храниться на Украине и ее будут проносить перед украинским войском , мы будем не победимы !
Серко был выдающимся полководцем и человеком . Враги , а среди них были и турки , называли его - Урус шайтаном !!! О нем и его отваге много писали иностранные деятели и дипломаты . Он никогда не пил , но перед отработкой техники боя всегда курил " Гарлун " , смесь из трав , вызывающую замедление воспиятия времени человеком . Секрет " Гарлуна " безвозвратно потерян , как и многие документы свидетельствующие о фактах деяний великих воинов . Но не потеряны мифы и легенды Украины ! И одна из них - ИВАН ДМИТРИЕВИЧ СЕРКО .
